Demi bump session
Some stories have the best beginnings, but even more remarkable endings. I have been following Demi’s blog for some time now and when you get a message that she would love me to capture their bump moments, it’s hard not to do the happy dance. Meeting up with Demi for the first time was amazing and she is such an inspiration and sincere. This session presented us with the most beautiful moments that was not planned, but happened by chance and with such radiant beauty.
How beautiful is this letter to her son, Hammilton:
Before we know it, you will be here and trying to know what life would be like is simply impossible, but I can tell you this... I promise to love you with everything I have and to be the best possible mom I can be, I won’t always be perfect and I’ll definitely make mistakes but together we will figure it out! I promise to never give up and to do everything full heartily and to always think of your needs before my own! Sharing me with your sister might not always be easy but I promise you she loves you more than even she understands and as a family we will make sure everyone gets all the love they need and that each of us has one on one time with each other! I promise that you will always be loved and supported through your entire life and that we will always try and provide you with the best! We will be here for every moment of your life, helping you, watching you, catching you when you fall and cheering when you run. I will always be here to share advice with you but will never force you into any decisions. My role is purely to raise a happy healthy little baby and help you become the person your meant to be and I can’t wait, because I know you’ll grow into an amazing person one day! I love you whole heartedly already & cant wait to officially meet you xX
With all my heart,
Blown away daily by the amount of love she has for a person she’s never met. She talks, rubs and cuddles her baby brother every day and randomly confesses her love for him through out the day. The other day I told her she’s growing up too quickly and I asked her if she won’t please just stay my baby for a little longer, she got very upset and said, “I am not a baby anymore, I have to be a big sister to my brother” the commitment and excitement she has for this new role is truly magical and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing daughter, I know I’m not a perfect parent but her love & kindness let’s me know that I at least did something right!
